Geographic Information Services

GIS is a framework for gathering, analyzing, and managing data in relation to place. With roots in the science of geography, GIS, integrates data for spatial analysis. GIS assists with data collection, maintenance, analysis, and map creation as needed for all City Departments.

Some examples of data collected and utilized within the City includes: 
Roads, Railroads, Trails, Bike Routes, Parks and Park Equipment, Water, Storm Water and Sewer Infrastructure, Traffic signs, Street Lights, Tree Inventory, Imagery: Aerial, Oblique, and Street Level views
