Registration

Registration Procedure
Pre-registration is required for all programs with the fees due and payable at the time of registration. Registration is complete when the fee has been paid and your name is added to the registration list. All registrations are accepted on a first-come basis. If a class is filled before your registration is processed, you will automatically be placed on a waiting list and notified. Always use current age or grade at the beginning of the program.

For All Mail-in Registrations:
Complete the PDF Spring/Summer Mail-in Registration Form or the Fall/Winter Mail in Registration Form and mail to: MC Recreation Dept., Southbridge Mall, 100 S. Federal Ave, Suite 201, Mason City, IA 50401. Be sure all information is correct and complete.

Five Easy Ways to Register:
 1. In Person:
Register in person at the Recreation Office: Southbridge Mall, 100 S. Federal Ave., Suite 201,
Mason City, IA  50401.  Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
Monday - Friday
2. Online:
Type in the program you wish to register for, choose season, add to
cart and follow prompts.  You will need an account and password to
register online.  Credit/debit card needed.
3. By Phone: 641-421-3673, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Must have an established account.  Credit/debit card needed.
4. Mail In:
Complete the PDF Mail in registration form.  Mail to Mason City Recreation Dept.,
Southbridge Mall, 100 S. Federal Ave., Suite 201, 
Mason City, IA  50401

Credit/debit cart is needed.
5. Fax in:
Complete the PDF Mail in registration form.  Fax to 641-421-3635.  Credit/debit card is needed

Helpful Hints for Registering

1) Know your child's swim level.

2) Check their past swim pass cards from past seasons.

3) Call the Mason City Recreation Office with questions at 421-3673.

4) Check your vacation and camp schedules before registering.

5) Use the program numbers.

 

Refund Policy
There will be a $5 service charge for refund checks issued due to participant cancellation, or a full computer credit may be given to use at a later date. Full refunds will be given if program is canceled by the Recreation Department. Anything under $10 will be an automatic computer credit. There will be no refunds/credit issued after program registration deadline or program has begun, other than medical, which then will be prorated. If no registration deadline is mentioned, the registration deadline is considered two working days prior to the starting date, for all refunds.
